Last Tuesday, April 30, the exciting award ceremony of the contest "We are looking for the 75th Anniversary of Helvetia School Logo" took place. This contest, which sought to encourage creativity and student participation in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the school, received more than 30 proposals from students in Cycle II and Cycle III. The participants, both individually and in teams, demonstrated an impressive display of creativity by letting their imagination fly to create a meaningful and representative logo for this important date for the school. The incredible journey of Colegio Helvetia's 'cubers': from local to national competitions

This is the story of a group of students from Helvetia High School who have found an exciting and challenging activity: building Rubik's cubes. They started with the traditional Rubik's cube, soon more friends joined them and they started participating in tournaments and learned about the competitions, rules and different figures they could put together. Despite age and grade differences, they formed a close-knit group and participated in local and national competitions. These students from the school have come together to grow together and participate in an activity that has turned out to be very interesting and has forged a great friendship. [...]

We share the invitation of the Art area to Level III students to participate in the "Quarantine Diaries": a ten-day record on one of the following topics: Alteration of the space-time conception. Physical alteration of the places I inhabit. My body as a place, as a territory. Emotions and Quarantine. Looking outwards. Daily life and routine. The delivery date will be April 24. On Saturday 15th June, the school's social service outing with the children of the Plan Padrino of the Fundación SuizoColombiana was held to close the school's social service programme. 28 students from 10th and 11th accompanied their godchildren, 66 children from the San Carlos de Tibabuyes neighbourhood in Suba, to enjoy the attractions of the Salitre Mágico park. It was a wonderful day in which everyone shared and had fun together! Here are some of the moments:

JUGEND DEBATTIERT IN HELVETIA

On May 30 for the first time the event "Jugend Debattiert" took place at our school. It is a debate model (two students for, two against a controversial topic, students cannot choose sides) consisting of a dynamic competition first within the classes (this year 10A and 11A, 16 finalists were selected), then a final at school level, then a national final (with two finalists from Helvetia, Colegio Andino, Colegio Alemán de Medellín and Gimnasio von Schiller) and then an international final (participation from Peru, Chile, Argentina, Argentina and Chile).

It's time for La Noche de los Artistas, where students from all three levels will show all their talent! Helvetia's great musical event is back, this time to celebrate the 70th anniversary of our school. This Wednesday, May 8 in two concerts for Level I, Thursday, May 9 with two concerts for Level II and on Friday, May 10 the turn will be for Level III with a single session at 7 pm. Tickets cost $25,000 and are on sale at the Reception desk of the school [. ..].
