Students Lucas Klopstock and Jeronimo Galeano from 6A were crowned champions of the National Football Tournament "Chiquifútbol". They are the best out of more than 450 teams from all over the country. Congratulations!

KARATE GRADES SECOND SEMESTER

On Saturday 15th June the Karate grading took place in the coliseum of the school. 89 students received their new belts and demonstrated the different moves they have mastered at each level. 61 of them recently excelled at the English School Karate Tournament, from where they brought back several gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as the Champions cup in kata. Last Tuesday, May 28, a conversation took place in our school with the 5th grade students of both sections and the outstanding pediatrician, writer and traveler Francisco Leal Quevedo, who spoke to the students about his book "Los secretos de Hafiz Mustafá", a work that they had worked on in class with teacher Andrea Martínez. Dr. Quevedo has won several children's literature awards for works such as El mordisco de la medianoche, Aventura en el Amazonas and Aventura en Tierradentro. It's time for La Noche de los Artistas, where students from all three levels will show all their talent! Helvetia's great musical event is back, this time to celebrate the 70th anniversary of our school. This Wednesday, May 8 in two concerts for Level I, Thursday, May 9 with two concerts for Level II and on Friday, May 10 the turn will be for Level III with a single session at 7 pm.
