Sin lugar a dudas, la Noche de Artistas (Nivel I, Nivel II y III), son tres de los eventos culturales más importantes que realiza nuestra Institución, este evento tiene como objetivo principal mostrar el talento artístico y el emprendimiento de los estudiantes del Colegio Helvetia. En años anteriores hemos contado con la colaboración de 230 estudiantes, entre nivel I, II y III, donde se obtuvo una cifra récord en participación y asistencia, ya que logramos una asistencia de público de 1.100 personas aproximadamente. Participation in International Economics Olympiads

Laura Guatibonza, a 12A student, participated in the fourth version of the International Economic Olympiads, which this year was hosted by Latvia. Laura was selected, along with 4 other young people from the country, to represent Colombia in this competition that took place from 26 July to 1 August this year. Congratulations!

STUDENT GOVERNMENT ELECTED FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR!

With 45.39% of the votes, Pablo de la Vega and Tomás Romero from 12B, with their campaign "Construyendo a Distancia", have been elected for the Personería of the school for this school year. Likewise, with 63.84% of the votes, Anna Consuegra from 12B was elected to the position of Cabildante and Tomás Martínez from 11A, with 66.05% of the votes, was elected as Comptroller. CHIQUIFÚTBOL NATIONAL TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS

Students Lucas Klopstock and Jeronimo Galeano from 6A were crowned champions of the National Football Tournament "Chiquifútbol". They are the best out of more than 450 teams from all over the country. Congratulations!

GOLD IN LATIN AMERICAN ASTRONOMY AND ASTROPHYSICS OLYMPIADS

Tomás Noguera, student of class 12A, won the GOLD medal at the Latin American Astronomy and Astronautics Olympics, which took place in the city of Puebla in Mexico from 20 to 26 October, with the participation of 11 Latin American countries. Congratulations!

With 62.8% of the votes from students from 3rd to 6th grade, Paloma Samper from year 6A was elected as the new Personera for Primary students. Paloma will work hand in hand with the Personeria team and the Student Council, congratulations!

FIRST AND THIRD PLACE IN NATIONAL FINAL JUGEND DEBATTIERT

Last Friday 25th October the national final of the German debate event Jugend Debattiert took place at the Colegio Andino. Helvetia won first and third place. Congratulations to Sophia and Maria José Niklaus (12A) respectively, as well as to Antonio Dávila (11A) and Santiago Gómez (11A), who also represented the school. Sophia, along with a student from Andino, will represent Colombia in the Latin American final on Friday 8 November. Best of luck!

STUDENTS FINALISTS IN CHEMISTRY OLYMPIADS

Camilo Cabrales and Juan Felipe Celis from class 12B qualified for the final of the 27th edition of the Colombian Chemistry Olympiad. The final will take place next Saturday 28 September at the National University of Colombia. Throughout the whole process they have been accompanied by Antonio Gallego, Chemistry teacher at the school. Congratulations!

ELECTED OMBUDSMAN, DEPUTY OMBUDSMAN AND LOBBYIST!

With 78.8% of the votes Pedro Rueda and Federico Suescún have been elected to the school's Personería this school year. Likewise, with 67.6%, Santiago Ramelli will be the first ever Helvetia School Councillor. The blank vote obtained the majority of the votes with 53.6% for the position of Comptroller, for this reason new elections for this position will be called later on. Congratulations and success in your administration!
